Embedded Software Engineer : C / C++ - Perm : Edinburgh and Lothians

Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our market leading client, a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. You will be joining a small team of experienced Engineers with responsibility for taking customer requirements through the full development lifecycle ensuring that the delivered products meet their expectations. You will have a proven track record in the design and development of Leading Edge Embedded Software Products within a fast paced R&D environment. To be considered you should possess the following skills and experience:

Essential:

- Experience of Real Time Embedded Software Engineering using C and C++

- Demonstrable knowledge of the SDLC within an R&D environment

- Experience of Architectural Design and Development

- Experience of delivering projects within defined timescales

- Ability to deliver complex software solutions from customer specifications

Desirable:

- Experience of TCP/IP and OSI

- Previous track record of mentoring junior team members

- Ability to communicate with users at all levels
