Working as part of a specialist team based in the Glasgow office, my client is looking for highly motivated Technical Development Manager.

As the Development Manager you will be responsible for planning and managing application development and client delivery activities for an assigned application portfolio that may include small and simple software applications, moderately complex software applications or components of large and complex software applications. The client has lots of exciting projects coming up that you will have the opportunity to get involved in.

To be suitable for this role you will need experience in a similar Development Manager position. You will also require experience in the .net stack as well as managing a small team of developers.

You must be a self starter with previous exposure to a client environment. You will have the ability to demonstrate previous development work on complex commercial applications and an understanding of user interface design principles. You will be able to work effectively demonstrating initiative to follow your ideas through to action. Excellent IT, interpersonal and communication skills are vital as much of the work will be team-based.

The key technical skills required are:

Microsoft.Net(C#) - WinForms and ASP.NET

MVC 4+

MS SQL Server 2000

Preferred experience of

Visual Basic 6,

.NET 2.0

NHibernate

MS SQL Server 2005 / Reporting Services

In return, my client offers an excellent salary between £80000 - £90000 as well as a 5% pension healthcare and 33 days holiday.
