Java Developer / Senior Java Software Engineer (Java Unix Linux Multi-threading Spring Agile). Global leading financial trading site is seeking a Senior Java Developer to take ownership of high-volume, low-latency trading and real-time pricing systems. You will join a talented agile team working with the latest kit in a technology-led environment.

As a Senior Java Developer you will design, develop and maintain complex, multi-threaded system, from design and implementation to production support. You will liaise with other developers, stakeholders and end users to understand their requirements and transform them into robust, fully-tested solutions. Requirements:

           Excellent Java skills

           Familiar with distributed, concurrent, multi-threaded programming for high volume, low latency applications

           Understanding of Unix / Linux scripting, including KSH/BASH

           Experience in an agile TDD / BDD development environment

           Likely to be degree educated in a numerate degree

           Strong communication and analytical skills

           Desirable: Design Patterns, Spring Framework, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, CEP, RDBMS or NOSQL development, FIX Protocol and / or financial experience
