Company and Project

My client is a leading UK engineering solutions contractor in the water sector, with a turnover of 650 million. They have an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London working on a 350 million pound project. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with main contractors on water projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be required to work on clean and waste water, report to the senior Quantity Surveyor and manage smaller projects. Working on NEC forms of contract you will be assisting the senior Quantity Surveyor and managing delivery of the project. Responsibilities will also include managing the procurement and sub-contractors.

Requirements

* 5 years quantity surveying experience

* Water experience is preferable but not essential

* Experience with NEC forms of contract

* Degree preferable

* Available to start immediately

Remuneration

The client has indicated that for the ideal candidate they are willing to pay up to £310 per day depending on experience.
