Software Release Manager

One of my clients in Edinburgh is currently looking for a Software Release Manager to join them an initial three to six month contract.

The client who you would be working with have gone through a large amount of growth over the past year, and show no signs of slowing down. In this contract, you will be required to communicate with the technical team as well as the QA test team, and make sure that the project release runs out smoothly.

The right candidate will have the following:

* At least three years commercial experience of working as a Release or Project Manager

* Strong experience of documentation as well as setting up processes

* Ideally degree educated with an IT background

* Experience of working in a team as well as working independently

* Very good negotiation skills, and will also have the ability to work to strict time deadlines in line with the project release date

* Experience of server configuration and any mobile/.NET/C# experience is ideal

* Experience of working on large projects and promoting web pages to live

* Good knowledge or an understanding of HTML/CSS and Cloud technology and virtualization
