Java Developer / Senior Java Programmer (UNIX Linux Distributed Multi-threading Java). Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a skilled, Senior Java Developer to design and develop an equity derivative risk and pricing system for use throughout this global company. This distributed, multi-threaded platform calculates value and risk measures of firm positions with incredibly low latency.

As a Senior Java Developer you will join a talented team, working throughout the full development lifecycle to devise innovative solutions to challenging issues. Based in stylish offices in Canary Wharf, this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be well-rewarded for your successes and innovations.

Requirements:

                     Strong Java skills

                     Experience in distributed, multi-threaded environment

                     Good understanding of object oriented design

                     Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux

                     Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

                     Strong analytical and problem solving skills
