The Corporate Trade Operations application suite supports the import/ export Trade Finance area and consists of 5 key applications within Commercial. Recently, the reliance of the Commercial area on this platform led us to move it from our Payments Division to be more aligned with our Commercial IT team.

As a result, we are seeking a technically orientated individual familiar with Financial Services/ Corporate environments to support the applications and the transition itself. The applications themselves support a huge and strongly growing portfolio so the correct level of technical support is paramount.

You will lead the development of projects working with SME and offshore partners and should have experience working with a Global Resource Model and take responsibility for sizeable pieces of self-coding too. Not only that, you will be support orientated and once up-to-speed will become part of a 24/7 support rota. There is a great opportunity to be involved in training peers and more junior colleagues in Java wherever appropriate and the confidence and experience to run training would be beneficial.

Technically, you will have demonstrable ability in the following technologies.

- Java (J2EE)

- Unix

- Oracle

- Datastage (desirable but not essential)

- Knowledge of Misys TI Plus and / or LOTS packages (desirable but not essential)
