Exciting and challenging role for a Web Developer based in central Glasgow, for a long-standing media company. This new role is ideally suited to an experienced web developer with Object-orientated PHP development skills who has experience of/ exposure to working with CMS systems.

You’ll be working with a portfolio of around 25 company websites - updating, re-developing and supporting them, as part of a team of developers and project managers to help drive development. This is a great opportunity for a developer with a genuine passion for finding solutions to business needs.

Skills and Experience required:

                                 •                       OO PHP skills

                                 •                       Strong SQL skills with emphasis on relational database design

                                 •                       Knowledge of Linux

                                 •                       Expertise with AJAX (jQuery and standard JavaScript)

                                 •                       Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3

                                 •                       Experience developing with CMS systems

                                 •                       Experience with version control

                                 •                       Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Web Development, or similar.

                                 •                       Ideally 2-3 years experience.
