Software Engineer (Web/Mobile, CC.NET)

My client based in Edinburgh are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work in their Windows Applications environment. Working with cutting edge technologies you will be responsible for the build and deployment of a number of applications and software, including Mobile and Web.

Writing and maintaining CI Builds using CC.NET and TeamCity, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with some really creative minds and be on the cutting edge of Mobile/Web technology.

Supporting the Development team you will be maintaining non production environments and automating repeatable tasks. As part of the role you will be writing and maintaining installation packages such as InstallShield.

Providing support for Performance, load and scale testing you will also be comfortable with SQL Server and have a basic knowledge of Team Foundation Server, as well as Source Control build and deployment.

You will be used to working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment and have a good understanding and appreciation of the latest Web and mobile development tools.

Any experience with Automation tools such as Chef, Puppet and Docker will also be favoured.
