A Greater Manchester based company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced .Net Software Development Manager to join and lead their .Net software development team.

The .Net Software Development Manager will ensure the successful design, build and delivery of innovative software products using the latest cutting edge technologies including ASP.Net (4.5), responsive web HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript framework.

Reporting into the Digital Development Director the Software Development Manager will be leading development in an Agile/SCRUM environment using ASP.Net (4.5), C#, MVC (5), HTML5, CSS3, UMBRACO, and SharePoint CMS systems. As a Creative Technologist you will strive for innovative solutions that are delivered on time to a high quality.

The team of ASP.NET developers manage up to 20 projects at any one time utilising the latest technologies and tools. As the .NET focused Software Development Manager you must have a project and team leading experience as you would be implementing all key .NET web projects.

You will be able to make recommendations for change and champion change within the department

They are looking for someone with:

* A minimum of 8+ year's commercial experience using Microsoft .Net technologies such as ASP.Net, MVC, HTML5 and CSS3

* Ability to lead other current technologies such as Xamarin, Phone Gap, JQTouch, Telerik, Objective C/Swift

* A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager

* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

Strong leadership, project management skills (Agile/ SCRUM), time management and problem solving skills. Experience with Prince2 is nice to have but not essential.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
