SAP Project Manager-Finland-12 month contract-Start Jan 2015

Currently I am urgently seeking a SAP Project Manager for the below position:

Daily rate: £550 p/d + expenses (this includes, flights and accommodation)

Start date: 5th January 2015

Location: Finland

Professional profile

My client requires an experienced SAP project manager with strong focus on planning, coordination, milestones, subcontractors, leadership of project team, stakeholder management (all levels), risk management and communication.

The candidate must be resilient, structured and thrive by being in the center of project activities.

An experienced Project Manager with professional insight and/or experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

- Stage-Gate models / Prince2 Practitioner

- Movex to SAP migration projects

- SAP landscape set up and configuration

- SAP/Astro integration

- Multiple vendors (in our case NNIT, SAP, and TCS or IBM)

- Cutover management in relation to user go-live

Project Type

The project is part of the clients strategy for the Finnish Business Group by supporting the foundation for the long term Supply Chain Management strategy.

This is achieved by replacing the CFI Movex environment with the clients strategic solution: SAP Sales, Planning and Warehouse Management.

The project is to implement the clients standard solutions and by doing that, enable:

* Automated and controlled W&D process

* Cost control and efficient use of resources

* Fulfil customer & legal requirements

* Real time stock and accuracy of data

* Better decisions due to accurate data

* Business continuation

The clients IT Project Framework

Drive the project through the clients IT Project Framework. The IT Project Framework is a Stage-Gate inspired model that forms the basis for project activities within the clients IT projects from project idea to project closure.

SAP Sales

Implement the use of the clients Sales template with minor adjustments for specific CFI Business needs.

SAP Planning

Implement the use of the clients Planning template for Demand, Supply and Production Planning with minor adjustments for specific CFI Business needs.

Warehouse Management

Implement Warehouse Management according to CFI Business needs. Experience with SAP/Astro integration preferred.

Onsite presence

3-4 days per week onsite presence in Finland is required with an option of 1 day remote (home office). During go-lives a higher presence is required

Administrative tools

Experienced user of MS Project, MS Office, SAP Solution Manager.
