Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Staffordshire or (Home based)
Job Description:
Our Client a leading Telecommunications Services Company is currently looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager working to locations throughout the UK. They have recently won a number of new contracts, as a result of this they are looking to expand current project teams with additional Technical Project Managers at all levels of experience.
You will be responsible for delivery of the full project scope which will involve upgrade and build work to a series of sites throughout the UK and may be involved with the pre-sales task of scheduling documentation for tender proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Delivery of project, working within time, cost, quality and client KPIs.
*Close liaison with client representatives to ensure timely completion of sites; liaising with external resources where necessary and as/when problems arise.
*Lead and manage the Project team.
*Liaison with, and matrix management of, internal and external bodies, to ensure timely delivery of sites ready for build.
*Ensure processes and procedures are documented and adhered to.
*Evaluation of project progress and providing reporting/data analysis/KPIs, as required, to clients.
*Attendance at, and participation in, client progress meetings
*Processing of new instructions and managing ad-hoc instructions from the client as they arise
*Ensure understanding of business objectives and deliver results that contribute to the profitability of the client.
Candidate Profile:
*Previous experience of working as a Project Manager in the Telecoms, Networking or Construction environments.
*Leadership skills - able to influence the actions and opinions of others in a desired direction; to exhibit judgement in leading others to worthwhile objectives.
*Organisation and planning skills - able to organise or schedule people to tasks; to develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability.
*Team Building - able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
*Communication - able to write clearly and effectively present ideas and to document activities; to read and interpret written information; able to represent at client meetings; to chair or make presentations as appropriate.
*Attention to Detail - the ability to spot when errors have been made within documentation and instructions
*Commitment to task - able to start and persist with specific courses of action whilst exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency; ability to drive a task forward until the task is either resolved or completed
