Abrecco are recruiting a Visual Basic Application Developer with strong SQL Server skills on behalf of our Global client based in Glasgow. Ideally the successful candidate will be a confident software developer with experience of the full software development lifecycle of large, enterprise scale, multi-user systems within an agile environment. The first 12 months of the position will focussed on the maintenance and enhancement of existing VB6 Applications. After this period the focus will move to development using C# and WPF Technologies. Candidates should have excellent analytical, communication and client facing skills along with a strong technical ability in the following technologies.

Essential

- VB6 / VB.Net

- SQL Server (Including T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions)

- Crystal Reports

Desirable

- C#.Net / ASP.Net

- WPF, XAML
