Project Manager - In-Building (telecoms)

£45,000 + company car, 5% bonus and excellent benefits

In-building, telecoms, telecommunications, Prince2, DAS, antenna, MiMO, LTE

Based from either Clevedon, Winchester, Chalfont

The Role:

?The management of In-Building, via key suppliers from inception, application through to completion. This in includes any pre-sales support as required.

?The setup of new In-Building, from inception to application enabling the delivery teams to be informed on how to deliver the programme

?Maintain key customer relationships in conjunction with Business Units and Customer Service Managers

?Ensure that current and future supplier relationships are developed in conjunction with Commercial department colleagues

?Ensure a balanced workload for suppliers, taking into consideration performance, resource availability and experience.

Revenue & cost focussed approach to delivery of projects

Supplier Management

*All aspects of implementation from receiving the signed-off design to completion and final acceptance of site works.

*Ongoing liaison with Designers to ensure that work on site is implemented 'as designed' and that any design issues that emerge during implementation are resolved.

*Quality of on site works provided by suppliers and ensuring compliance with CDM (including CDM Coordinator role) and H&S guidelines.

*Strategically review third party contractors, and suppliers, instigating, developing and periodically reviewing contracts as required to meet the project objectives.

?Report on forecasts, progress, target achievements and exceptions

*Responsible for the financial performance of Programmes of works

Skills and attributes requires:

*Have a working knowledge of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). (MiMO and LTE desirable).

*Contract management experience.

*Proven Customer management experience.

*Experience in Project or Programme Management systems, tools and processes, must be able to use Microsoft Project.

*Contractor and Supplier Management experience, including cost control and project cost management.

*Negotiation capability.

*CDM Awareness, Asbestos, Health and Safety Training, Rooftop Safety and RF awareness.

*Proven track record in managing Programmes or delivering multi projects to budget and programme.

Role, technical or sector experience required:

*Basic knowledge of site design, Acquisition, Town and Country Planning, Construction, Project Finance, and JOTS compliance.

*Current driving licence.

*Able to read construction drawings, produce sketches, assess cost estimates.

*Proven ability to create and build working relationships with both internal and external suppliers
