IT Project manager - Central London (Business Projects - non technical)

One of the world's largest and most profitable businesses in their field are looking to recruit an IT Project Manger (non-technical and more business focused) to help manage and deliver project and change requests to the UK business.

Reporting to the Enterprise Programme Manager the successful candidates will be responsible for management of a variety of projects including SAP and Web initiatives.

Whilst working on exciting a cutting edge projects your skills will be developed through training and also have your career supported through promotions when opportunities arise.

Responsibilities:

- Management of key IT projects delivering them to defined quality, budget and time-scales. In detail some of the core aspects include:

- Agreeing project objectives

- Representing the interests of the business

- Organising project resources

- Risk and issue management

- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met

- Making sure the quality standards are met

- Using project management tools to keep track of people and progress

- Recruiting specialist and sub-contractors

- Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained

- Project accounting, costing and invoicing

- The ongoing development of own reports and their performance management if applicable

Requirements:

- Min of 3 years IT project management experience (broad and generalist non-technical IT experience preferred but all applicants will be considered should they have strong Project management experience)

- Exposure to and a good understanding of technical aspects, products and applications within IT

- Strong people management

- Self-starter who is adaptable and able to work with some ambiguity

- Results orientated

- Able to delegate and collaborate effectively

- Nice to have Prince 2 certification

Salary:

Perm vacancy: Up to £45k + bonus + full benefits
