A great opportunity has arisen for an Application Support Analyst to fill a position in the Edinburgh area with a Global IT Services organisation. The successful Support Analyst will join an existing team supporting the services of a particular client in the Public Sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* 2nd - 3rd line Support

* Liaise with customer in order to resolve application issues

* Identify problems through analysis of applications

* Identify continual service improvement initiatives

* Assisting with application deployments

* Provide out of hours support

Required Skills:

* At least 3 years' experience within covering 1st-3rd Line support

* Strong understanding of ITIL principles

* Excellent customer service skills

* Ability in Application Development using the Microsoft .NET framework, automated unit testing and continuous integration
