My client based in the city centre of Glasgow is looking to take on an Application Developer to join their application delivery team of experienced professionals.

The perfect candidate will either have working experience in an IT environment or be an exceptional computer science graduate.

Key Skills:

* Java.

* Computer Science or related degree.

* XML/XSLT.

* Be technically astute.

* Ability to work as part of a team.

* Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Desirable:

* Hands on working experience in a development environment.

* Experience of developing applications in Java and XML/XSLT.

Day to Days:

* Developing mobile applications using an in-house toolkit, along with XML, XSLT and some Java Programming.

* Some customer facing work.

* Providing face to face support.

* System documentation.

* Issue tracking.

* Product testing.

Salary:

* This position is a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract.
