IT Trainer

IT Trainer required to join one of the world's largest investment management organisations. The IT Trainer would be a part of a global technology training team who are responsible for coordinating and delivering IT training to all departments within this investment management organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity, involving some travel within Europe, for a skilled IT trainer to join a successful organisation based within the West End of London.

Key Responsibilities include:

* To provide one-on-one consulting on a multitude of applications to investment associates. There will be a slight focus on proprietary fixed income, equity applications and Microsoft Excel

* To develop and continuously improve a training curricula and materials for a variety of media (electronic, web-based, in-person, job aids, etc).

* Delivering training using a variety of formats: one-on-one, group sessions, hands-on classes, demos, remote training via application sharing, web-based training modules and documentation/job aids.

* Visiting other offices in Europe in order to provide training as needed, both on a project basis for software rollouts, as well as to provide ongoing IT training as a part of the global team.

* Working in tandem with IT support teams in order to share information and ensure that training needs of each business unit are met within the required time frames.

Skills and Qualifications Desired:

* Software training experience with a variety of off-the-shelf applications (MS Office, SharePoint, Outlook, mobile technology) is essential, and must be within a Financial Services firm, ideally Investment Management but applicants from Banking will be considered

* Training documentation development experience

* High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint, including training experience

* A bachelor's degree preferable

* Experience in the fixed income and equity financial industry is desired

As the Role involved travel around Europe, the IT Trainer should hold an EU passport.

Location: West End of London

Salary: 35k - 45k plus comprehensive benefits package
