I am currently working with a client based in London who have a requirement for a Credit Risk Analyst to start in ASAP. The details are below-

Location: London

Duration: 3 months rolling.

Rate: £ 350 p/d

Requirement-

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Portfolio Analysis & Insight team within Wealth & RBB Credit Risk.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to deliver credit risk analytics expertise to enable the successful transition of the IMS Asia portfolio to the UK.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the handover of the end-to-end reporting process from the local team in Hong Kong to London. This will include delivering a robust and thorough set of documentation, handover of BAU monthly reporting - including parallel running, troubleshooting and validation - and the production and distribution of business unit portfolio risk management information, as well as driving the streamlining of processes and efficiencies through business expertise.

They will interact with a range of stakeholders, owning the relationship between the UK Credit Risk team and the local Hong Kong team to ensure a smooth transition. The successful candidate will also be the main point of contact for the delivery of key portfolio trends to senior management, with the opportunity for exposure to stakeholders up to Executive level - and so will require excellent communication and presentation skills.

The role will require strong analytical capability, demonstrable stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to work. The successful candidate will have Credit Risk or other relevant Financial services experience (1-2 years minimum) and excellent written/oral communication skills.

Experience with data interrogation and advanced Microsoft Office capability is essential - particularly the use of Excel and Access

To support this, the role will require:

* Educated to degree level, preferably in a numerate discipline

* Credit Risk or other Financial services experience in an analytical role - 1-2 years minimum

* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the concepts, principles and practices of Credit Risk analysis and portfolio written and verbal communication skills, able to present ideas confidently to clients and Account teams
