Head of Development

Leading Glasgow business is currently seeking a Software development management to help guide them into the next stage of their businesses evolution.

As the business move into the digital age they require a software development manger with solid experience of Digital management and Digital delivery. Responsible for a team of 18 developers with growth plans to the mid 30's in 2015 - 2016 the successful candidate must have experience of managing through team leaders and senior developers.

Ideally you will have come from hands on Development back ground and will be looking to move into a larger organisation with increased budget and project responsibilities. This role is for an experienced Development manager and not a first management role.

Essential experience;

* Hands-on background in software development or testing.

* Experience managing a team in an agile environment.

* Experience managing multiple teams/team leaders.

* Experience managing of 15+ developers.

Desirable:

* Experience of Kanban

* Experience working within Emergency Service environment

* Experience in a mobile environment

* Numerate based degree

Salary:

* Circa £58,000 dependant on experience.
