Tester (Manual With Automation exp) - Edinburgh - £45,000

A leading organisation in the Edinburgh area is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Tester to become a part of their leading and dynamic IT team.

They are the leading provider of Financial Management solutions to many of the largest businesses and to local governments around the world. They are an essential and proud partner to seven of the top global banks.

The successful candidate will be required to work along other testers on a number of different projects - hands-on experience in with at least one type of automation testing as well as manual testing themselves is essential.

Requirements

Excellent team player and effective communicator

Experience of 4-6 years in a Test and Quality Assurance environment.

High level of experience in Automated Testing.

High level of experience in System Testing.

High level of experience in UAT Testing.

High Level of experience in Bug tracking through to resolution.

Good knowledge of interrogating SQL databases.

Experience of Security testing

Experience of Agile development methodologies and a strong agile thinker

Knowledge of Microsoft IIS Web Server and Web Services.

Knowledge of Performance Testing

Maintaining of system documentation; user manual, release notes, installation instructions, etc.

Provide second line support to Help Desk

Enhancement and bug requests

Release management
