A Top 10 main contractor has a prestigious opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of Highway projects in London as part of the London Highways Alliance Contract.

Our client has a strong history and is renowned for excellence in highways operation, highways maintenance and highways improvement. Their vision is to be the world class provider of your highways services in London.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for aspects of quantity surveying from early construction phases including procurement of sub-contractors; measurement, valuation and managing payment applications throughout the project; to final account and claims handling upon completion. This individual should be able to demonstrate a strong commercial track record, achieving profit on a regular basis and be able to manage target cost robustly and professionally.

The Key Requirements

* Strong track record with recognised Main Contractors in the London market.

* Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.

* Sector experience must include Highways.

* Degree qualified ideal but not essential.

* Previous roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Money

£270 - £320 per day.
