Senior Java Developers

My client is searching for Senior Java Developer to join their Scottish project teams working on client projects, based either on clients sites or my clients offices, and delivering quality development services.

Main Features of the Role

The Senior Developer will play a lead role in delivering bespoke solutions or developing enhancements to existing applications. The Senior Developer must have strong communication skills in order to work with client staff and ensure that there is a clear, shared understanding of the end functionality required.

Essential skills:

?Java 6+

?JBoss Middleware Technologies

?Spring including Core, JDBC, Transaction, AspectJ, Web Services, Security and MVC

?Java EE including EJB, JMS, JDBC, JPA (Hibernate / TopLink / EclipseLink / Spring) and Web Services (RESTful and WSDL)

?XML

?Schema Design, XSD

?Continuous Integration

?Maven

?Eclipse

?Knowledge of the Rational Unified Process lifecycle, activities and resultant assets (e.g. Use Cases)
