Senior Credit Risk Analyst - SAS - Edinburgh - £44-£50k

We are currently assisting our client - a leading Challenger Bank - and their requirement for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, with Strong SAS Skills, to be based out of their Edinburgh offices.

Due to growth plans within the team, this role sits within their Mortgage Risk Division and requires an experienced SAS User from a Retail Credit risk background who can develop strategies as well as mentor Junior Risk Analyst's in the team.

THE ROLE:

> You will come from a retail lending background, utilising SAS in delivering Credit Risk Analytics expertise.

> You will have previous experience in developing and implementing Credit Risk Strategies for retail lending portfolio's - Mortgages would be ideal but not a necessity.

> You will be a excellent communicator and able to manage Stakeholder expectations.

> You will be experienced coaching / mentoring Junior SAS Credit Risk Analyst's.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

> Strong SAS / SQL skills in manipulating large data sets in a retail Credit Risk role.

> Previously coached, mentored or led a team of Analyst's

> Ideally educated to degree level in a highly numerate discipline.

This client are a rapidly expanding Challenger Banking organisation who place a huge emphasis on putting their Customer's at the forefront of everything they do.

With extensive and continued growth plans moving forward, this is the ideal opportunity for an experience SAS Risk Analyst to step up to a more Senior position and use their experience to drive the direction of the organisations Mortgage Risk Portfolio.

Based on a permanent basis out of Edinburgh, the salary potential is up to £50k (dependant on experience) before the inclusion of an extensive benefits package. Further demonstrating the high-profile nature of the role.
