Embedded Software Engineer with strong C++ and Linux skills needed to join a world renowned, leading technology company developing high performance virtual platforms and software models to enable the rapid development of complex embedded systems.

This leading semiconductor company provide products and technologies that accelerate innovation in the global electronics market, have an exciting position for an experienced Embedded Software engineer to join their R & D team developing high performance pre-silicon virtual platforms and models for use by software developers worldwide.

These C++ based software models shorten the design cycle through early software development, improve product quality with early hardware/software integration and promote design collaboration via easy electronic distribution.

You will be involved in the configuration and bring up of complex software stacks and drivers on the simulated hardware, identifying issues, investigating their root cause, and working closely with the development teams to identify and implement solutions.

Key Skills must include -

- Strong C++ programming experience (5 years+)

- Excellent embedded development experience, ideally with experience of bringing up and developing Linux drivers

- Hardware or Embedded systems experience

Bonus Skills

- Transaction level modelling experience

- Android domain knowledge is a strong advantage

- Windows/Linux or embedded driver development knowledge
