An exciting opportunity for a Transformation Programme Manager to join a local organisation who are undergoing a large transformation programme.

As a senior member of the organisations Transformation initiative you will provide leadership of one or more programmes.

Responsibilities:

Lead on the implementation of the organisations transforming services across defined programmes of work as allocated by the Transformation Portfolio Office.

Work across a Portfolio of complex programmes, in conjunction with other Programme Managers to bring together and implement the overall transformation of the company.

Lead a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for its performance through the management and use of staffing, financial resources and technology - involving stakeholders, partners and customer feedback to deliver services.

Lead the transfer and redesign of services from traditional departmental structures into the new operating model for the company, achieving financial savings and service improvements across different departments.

Represent the company across the city and region, promoting the companies transformation; making links to the corporate priorities to include promoting the city as a place for business and opportunity through the innovation of services within the business.

Working with other colleagues, put in place strategies for the improvement of outcomes for the community and improved public perception of the business through a defined approach to the delivery of high quality services that meet the needs of the community and clients.

Work with the Head of the Portfolio Office to provide a professional capability of Programme and Project management across the business.

Essential:

Substantial experience of designing and delivering complex programmes of change including matrix management, working with senior officers and multiple suppliers and working in a complex operational environment.

Extensive experience of programme planning and prioritisation, managing risk and issues, financial planning, control and reporting, writing business cases, establishment and quality assurance of PPM processes, assurance and approvals processes, benefits management.

Strong financial and commercial awareness, including delivery of third party contracts / SLAs.

Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner

PRINCE2 or APM Practitioner
