Our client, a prestigious blue-chip company require a Cyber Security Manager to be based in their luxurious Reading office.

Reporting to the D&S Security Compliance Manger and the relevant Project Director the Cyber Security Manager will work within the team responsible for team building & running IT/Telecom managed services on behalf of major telecom operators.

The role will span multiple projects & customers, providing input and hands on support to transition projects and reviewing ongoing managed services operations.

Responsibilities:

* The Cyber Security Manager will be the subject matter expert on information security for managed services, acting as a security architect on projects and carrying out security health checks and risk based reviews to ensure ongoing operations.

* Implement and maintain the ISMS (Information Security Management System) for our customer environments

* Create & maintain standard solution options that can be applied generically across managed services projects

* Work with customers, sales teams, HR, IT, Cyber Security Office, operational teams, etc. to define viable project specific solutions that protect business & customer information assets from loss of availability, integrity and confidentiality that could result in business operational impact and/or negative financial and/or reputational consequences

* Manage the implementation & testing of solutions in accordance within the framework.

* Drive the information security culture across the managed services senior management team and individual managed services projects/operations

Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience of delivering cyber security frameworks/policies in a Telecoms environment

* Clear working knowledge of the Data Protection Act

* Recognised information security qualification/membership (e.g. CISMP, CISSP, CITP, MBCS, CLAS)

* Previous IT Security/Information Security experience in a client facing role

* Understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS

* SC Cleared

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Experience of working with external customers & commercially aware
