A Product Manager is required to join one of the largest multinational telecommunication companies.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for successful technical sales of solutions comprising of one or multiple Access network products into telecommunication operators in UK & Ireland. The Product Manager will be dedicated to one or several selected telecom operator customer(s) and will be required to work together with key account sales team(s) to establish, develop and close business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Promoting solutions to designated customers.
* Managing solution and product related activities and coordination towards customers.
* Identifying customer's key technical requirements and coordinate with internal Product Management teams, R&D and Engineering teams to ensure that these requirements are implemented in the products
* Bidding responsibility, including answering RFx, producing technical proposal, generating product solution quotation, presenting technical and commercial proposals.
* Doing technical sales daily works, including network design and pricing, PO processing, testing support, etc. for access network product(s) (MSAN, DSLAM, FTTx, CMTS, etc.)
Technical Skills and Knowledge
* Strong background in Telecoms is essential, either with Vendor or Operator
* Experience in a similar position to Product Manager / Solutions Sales
* An experienced expert on Access Network Design and Testing.
* Good understanding and knowledge of PSTN, MSAN, xDSL, IP DSLAM, optical fibre, FTTx, CMTS/DOCSIS, IP/MPLS, Ethernet LAN switch, etc.
* Ability to understand the customer's needs on network development and evolution in order to design the desired solution.
* Product management skills: producing product & market promotion document, performing competition analysis, creating presentations of product features & benefits
* Understanding on market opportunities, competition, product strategy & tactic and product Profit & Loss analysis.
* Knowledge of carrier business models and service management strategies.
* Knowledge of technical sales experience with the telecommunication incumbents in Europe.
* Tender project experience with telecommunication operators.
* Proven ability to successfully partner with service providers and develop new business models for telecommunication operators.
