My central Glasgow based Government-owned client is looking for a Programme Management Analyst. They are currently going through a transformation programme to help them achieve their mission to become a digital, customer focused centre of excellence. In order to achieve this, the programme is divided around four key areas: Core Systems Replacement, Digital Delivery, Business Improvements and Organisation Design and Efficiency.

The main purpose of this role is to perform general PMO support activities within the PMO team, working as part of the larger Programme Management team.

Key Accountabilities -

* Produce project reports and status updates to agreed reporting timetable;

* Maintain log of project risks, issues and actions;

* Maintain and track progress against project milestone plan;

* Support production of Programme level reporting;

* Support Project initiation process and maintenance of Pipeline reporting;

* Support Capacity and Resource Management function;

* Ensure that internal PMO standards and controls are adhered to;

* Collate project dependencies and share with PMO team as input into Portfolio level plan;

* Support Project Manager with day-to-day running of project related tasks;

* Perform project administration (including meeting preparation, co-ordination and minute-taking);

* Ensure project and programme documentation is kept current, version-controlled and stored in the agreed location;

* Assist Project Manager to progress Change Requests through agreed process to approval.

* Assist Project Manager with project closedown activities, including organisation of PIR, collation of lessons learned and feedback to central PMO team for confirmation of any remedial actions;

Essential Requirements -

* Degree preferred;

* Prince 2 qualified with experience in project management methodologies and practices;

* Experience of working within a Programme Management Office;

* Experience of working with senior managers and directors;

* Experience of working with external stakeholders;

* Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills;

* Excellent MS Office suite knowledge, including PowerPoint and MS Project;

* Track record of good time-management, with ability to deliver to deadlines;

* Highly organised;

* Attention to detail;

* Interact well in team environment;

* Resource planning and management experience preferred.
