Teradata Development DBA - 3+ Months - London - Immediate

My client, based in London, urgently require a Teradata Development DBA to join their team for an exciting 3 month project. To be successful for this position, you must be able to:

* Design / build databases including access view layers / hierarchies.

* Design / implement role based access / security model.

* Configure LDAP integration.

* Implement physical data models, indexing, partitioning etc. Primary / Secondary index selection.

* Undertake performance monitoring and performance tuning, including optimisation, database configuration and physical database design options.

* Undertake workload management and capacity planning.

* Work with Viewpoint - having good viewpoint experience.

* Proactively recommend and take on housekeeping and administration activities.

* Configure and perform Backup and recovery.

In addition to this, it would be ideal to have:

* Experience of virtual Teradata appliances.

* Experience of Informatica use with Teradata.

* Experience of Microstrategy use with Teradata.

You must also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and client facing skills.
