Our client, a financial giant, is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Implementation Manager who will be based in London

Driving the implementation of business change with excellent quality to our customers by establishing clear customer driven service, managing multifaceted deliverables from technology, business, Marketing and wider frontline support teams.

Responsible for ensuring all 'change' is accepted on to the Digital platforms in a rapid but secure and stable manner through the appropriate use of business acceptance criteria, and working closely with the frontline and Technology to fully embed the change.

Implementation Mnagement

* Develop and manage the Digital banking implementation plan for a set of projects in line with business change, pace and strategic direction of the business.

* Ownership of the implementation go-live work streams across multiple platforms and providing business readiness decisions on behalf of the Digital team.

* Responsible for the planning and coordination of a set of related projects and work streams within a programme of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies.

* Relationship management between the business and technology to ensure alignment of implementation planning, successful delivery and incident and defect management post-deployment.

* Provide senior management and stakeholders with timely reports, identifying risks, issues and managing mitigating actions.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

* Initiate, build and maintain relationships with and between key stakeholders across all areas of the Business and Technology.

* Manage stakeholders at a senior level, acting as their point of contact for Digital change updates and ensuring a clear two-way communication flow is in place.

Technical Skills/Competencies

* Clear thinking and excellent organisational skills.

* A logical, analytical approach to problem solving and close attention to detail.

* Effective written and oral communication skills including negotiation and influencing.

* Good relationship management skills.

* Creative and structured approach to change.

* Practical self starter able to manage a large number of activities against aggressive deadlines.

* Ability to take a pragmatic approach to obstacles that may arise within the programme.

* Ability to "hit the ground running" in unfamiliar environments

Knowledge and Expertise - Essential

* Excellent project management and strong stakeholder engagement skills

* Proactively identifies risks, issues and dependencies and ensure they are logged as part of the project governance

* Excellent understanding of retail banking and its key products.

* Knowledge of change and financial governance procedures

* Proven track record in implementation management and / or business acceptance of large scale projects

* Experience in established project management best practices

* Service Delivery and Operations

* Implementation management

Knowledge and Expertise - Preferred

* Online and mobile retail banking experience
