A global client of mine is currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to join to run a large Windows Server 2003 replacement programme across multiple countries for circa 35000 users. As well as migration of servers, each company within the group have their own bespoke applications (1000+) - the difficulty and challenge will be migration of their application as well.
The successful Project Manager but have experience of managing large global projects and must be able to communication with dispersed teams and ensure high delivery on time and budget. The migration will include 3000 severs and over 1000 applications - the successful candidate must be very technically minded.
Essential Skills:
Demonstrate a significant track-record of successful running complex global infrastructure projectsProven experience of running Windows Server replacement / migration projectsAbility to manage the migration of 1000+ applications sat on their serversExperience with managing projects across a large scale - 35000 users / 500 countriesKnowledge and ability to apply appropriate Project Management best-practiceKnowledge of ITIL framework for Service ManagementExcellent communication If you have the above experience and want to work in a challenging technical environment this could be a great role for you.
