The Opportunity

A top 10 main contractor has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and talented Commercial Manager to work on a variety of lucrative projects in London. You will be joining a top tier Construction company whom is at the forefront of Construction.

The ideal candidate will join as a Commercial Manger and responsibility for a range of surveying responsibilities from procurement of subcontractors; measurement & valuation, dealing with payments on account, producing CVR's and will ultimately be responsible for delivering target cost on the project. In addition to this, the Commercial Manager will supervise the surveying team and develop staff in line with the corporate goals and aims of the business. This role will also involve full board reporting and key account management, therefore exposure to P&L, cashflow and legal/claims handling would be an advantage, as well as excellent client facing skills.

The Key Requirements

* Extensive experience in a Commercial Manager role

* Chartered or working towards with 5 years+ experience with Tier 1 main contractors

* Procurement of sub-contractors to final accounts on a range of schemes to £100m

* Working on a range of NEC contracts and also JCT (D&B and Traditional)

* Sector experience to include Leisure, Mixed Use Developments, Retail and Commercial

* Previous Roles: Commercial Manager OR Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Managing Quantity Surveyor

The Money

£50,000 - £55,000 plus a highly competitive benefits package.
