Project Engineer - Electrical Energy

£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Holiday + Pension

Excellent opportunity for a project manager, with extensive experience in the electrical energy industry, looking to join a thriving and expanding company.

The business have enjoyed continued success since they began, by utilising clean energy and managing non-essential use through demand response. As a result the company are expanding internationally and are now recruiting for an experienced energy professional to join their highly skilled team.

In the role you will work closely with customers, visiting their sites to analyse energy consumption and the potential for reduction. You will manage customer relations from pre-sales through to implementation and commissioning. Provide business development support for clients who are interested in exploring further Demand Response opportunities. You will be the technical port of call to sales and operations teams for demand response and energy efficiency.

This position would suit a skilled technically sound electrical engineer with project management experience and an enthusiasm for clean energy. The candidate must have strong experience in the electrical energy industry and be a confident project manager. An in depth knowledge of the national grid and managing energy consumption and efficiency will be an advantage.

The role:

* Analysing energy consumption

* Manage clients' demand response from analysis through to implementation and commissioning.

* Post sales and business development for customers' future demand response requirements

* Technical energy efficiency expert to sales and operations teams

The person:

* Electrical engineer

* Strong client and project management experience

* Preferably have knowledge of demand response schemes, energy systems and demand side management

* Should have knowledge of standby generation, HV/LV switchgear, generator controls
