Front-end Developer / Investment Bank / Contract / London / £500 - £600 pd

My client, an investment bank, is looking for a C# Developer with strong front-end skills (WPF, MVVM, Dev Express, Telerik) to join their expanding team based in London.

What the role will entail:

This role is to work as part of a team building an in-house portfolio management tool. The project will see the creation of a WPF application to allow portfolio managers to interrogate portfolio data to gain insight and to automate repetitive manual processes.

You will be a team player, with excellent communication skills, who is comfortable working with a range of .Net technologies. You will also have a good understanding around the Fixed Income market and/or OTC derivatives.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

* Significant C# development

* WPF

* MVVM Frameworks (e.g. MVVM Light)

* Dependency Injection

* UI Controls (Telerik, Dev Express)

* Good understanding of SOLID design patterns

* Highly professional, flexible, team player with excellent communication skills

* Continuous Integration

Beneficial

* SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012

* Experience of developing real-time systems

* TFS

The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.
