Test Analyst - Edinburgh - £44,000

I am currently seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join an internationally recognised based in Edinburgh.

As a Test Analyst you will ensure the quality and reliability of software developments by the application and use of both manual and automated techniques.

Key Accountabilities:

* Design, build and execute complex test cases for the businesses in-house software.

* Monitor and accurately report progress of all testing activities within the Systems Development Life Cycle.

* Management of defect life cycle

* Contribute effectively to the process of test planning and estimation.

* Ensure testing activities are progressed to agreed timescales

* Participate in the use and development of departmental procedures.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

* 2 years proven experience in a testing role

* Familiarity with test automation practices and test tool usage.

* 2 years experience with automated test cases.

* Ability to organise, manage and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met.

* Strong analytical approach.
