Application Support

An exciting opportunity has opened up in a small software vending firm based in the City of London. The company provides products to those in the FX markets and are looking to drastically expand the company size. They are currently looking to create an IT support team and require a Junior Application Support Analyst to join the company. This is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to work closely with Java developers and a high tech business team. The company also offers training opportunities on the technical and business side with certificates.

Responsibilities of the Junior Application Support Analyst includes:

* Commitment to the delivery of a first class service.

* Hardware break/fix

* Operating system patch management

* Software release management and control

* Liaising with the business and technical teams

* Anti-virus management and control

Requirements of the Junior Application Support Analyst include:

* Degree in a technically related subject

* 0-3 years in a support role (preferably in financial services)

* Technical experience with Java and UNIX

* Working experience or knowledge in the FX markets would be desirable

* Ambitious

* Hard working

* Excellent communication skills

* Team player

Location: City of London

Salary: 25k-35k (depending on experience)
