Graduate Sales & Account Manager (Food manufacturing)

Peterhead, Aberdeen

£20,000 - £25,000 + Pension

Are you experienced in sales and looking to become an integral part of an ever growing organisation which of one of the top food processing firms in the UK, offering progression and career development?

The organisation is one of the largest independent food processors in the UK and are looking to grow year-on-year. They are a company who pride themselves on their quality of product, service and reliability and are looking for a Trainee Sales & Account Manager to add to their team.

You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships and increasing sales with current customers and securing contracts with new customers. Full training is provided for this role, giving you the opportunity to learn the full product range and the ins and out of the business. You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in the development and launch of new products.

This ideal candidate will have a passion for food and you will ideally have experience in a sales role.

The Role:

- Managing current customer accounts and sourcing new customers

- Maintaining current sales contacts and generating sales to existing customers

-Developing and implementing key sales, promotional strategies and joint business plans with customers

-Introducing new products and developing new business opportunities

The Person:

- Sales experience desirable

-Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage but not essential as full training is provided

- A relevant degree would be an advantage but not essential
