Product Controller - Investment Banking - London

My client, a Top Tier Investment bank, is recruiting for a Product Controller, to join the Credit Finance team, on a 6 month rolling contact based in London.

Skills Client Will be looking for;

* Qualified CFA or Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good working knowledge of accounting concepts

* Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and use spreadsheets

* Demonstrable risk identification and management

* Client focused approach

* Investment banking experience (desirable)

* Knowledge of Credit trading products (Credit Derivatives, Securities, Loans, etc) associated products

Overview of role;

* Production and/or review of official daily P&L Explain, and its provision for VaR backtesting

* Analysis of daily sub-ledger P&L, including any adjustments, generated by Middle Office for management reporting via Greensheets

* Daily P&L reporting to local and regional management

* Conduct Price Verification of CDS positions for the Credit Flow Desk by producing bi-weekly and daily price testing results.

* Balance sheet analysis
