Senior Analytical Infrastructure / Edinburgh / £35K - £48K

Main responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain the data and deployment environments for banking pricing decision models.

Play a key role in a team of analytical experts to design and deliver the data environment to meet the analytical requirements of banking.

Provide further support to the area by developing automated solutions to support the model management process.

Lead the development and maintenance of automated solutions across business analytics to enhance efficiencies and make the life simpler for model development and pricing teams

Be a key member of the team that develops intuitive analytical solutions that are utilised by the Commercial teams. These solutions 'house' the predictive models developed by Business Analytics and the output of the tools support informed commercial decisions which help them to achieve P&L and balance sheet targets and non financial targets.

Skills

- Expert in Data management principles

- Design, deliver and maintain software to 'present' financial modelling solutions, using knowledge of industry best practise

- Expert understanding of SAS. Proficient use of SQL/ Excel and VB.

- Ability to influence at senior level

- Expert in delivering automated insight

- Knowledge of external markets, identifying trends and opportunities for applications in the wider business

- Manage team deliverables

- Coaching analysts in programming skills

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience

- Extensive experience of data management - including design and delivery of enterprise wide data warehouses

- Extensive experience in designing and developing reporting environments

- Extensive experience in delivering automated solutions to meet both tactical and strategic requirements

- Software architecture, build and maintenance

- Experience managing large analytical projects with multiple workstreams and managing interdependencies

- Experience of leading cross department Projects

Salary - £35K - £48K
