Senior Business Consultant with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) Reporting experience - Regulatory Reporting, knowledge of Basel 2, IRR as well as COREP will be advantageous. Initially 3 months. Paying up to £500 p/d. Based in Central London

Senior Business Consultant Regulatory and or Banking background BUT specifically with experience of Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) reporting requirements

Your main duties will include:

- Configure regulatory reporting products such as to satisfy the project scope and specification within the timetable set by and agreed with the Project Manager/Principal Consultant.

- Report any delays or expected delays / risks to a project

- Report any changes of project scope whether initiated by the client, identified by the consultant or caused by regulatory change over the course of the project.

- Complete a Change Request document

- Maintain good relations with the client through regular written and verbal communication.

- Prepare and ensure regular checkpoints and contact reports (as appropriate) are sent to clients.

- Perform training of clients in software as directed by the Project Manager.

- Maintain good relations with other departments

- Perform product testing

- Ensure that client & project files and status reports are maintained

Experience required:

- Regulatory Reporting with knowledge of a wide range of products OR experience of working in the Regulatory Department

- Excellent written and oral English

- Background in Regulatory Reporting, with good knowledge of Basel 2 and IRR and experience of implementation of major regulatory changes.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.

- Good analytical skills and fast documentation writing.

- Needs investigative skills to remove ambiguity from the requirements in order to ensure that requirements are properly documented to a baseline state that can be agreed and moved

forward to functionality specifications.

- Needs confidence to be able to constructively challenge the business on requirements as appropriate.

- Willingness and ability to travel is also essential.

- Experience of product delivery from an external software vendor framework will be beneficial

You must be able and flexible to travel
