We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for our leading client in the Technology Industry. This is a permanent position in Glasgow with a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience.

Role and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain major software components for embedded and portable products

- Use Agile methodology to develop products

- Produce clear and concise detailed design specifications

- Find ways of improving systems and processes

- Work effectively within a multicultural team

The successful candidate for the Embedded Software Engineer role will have

- Beng in Electronics, Computing or related subject

- Strong C/C++ programming experience

- Familiarity with TCP/IP

- Unix/Linux experience

It is desirable that the Embedded Software Engineer is familiar with embedded hardware design, network protocols (ZigBee and CAN), HTML5, Java and JavaScript, SQL and a working knowledge of Jira.
