Our client, an online gaming and betting giant, is currently recruiting for an International, Agile Project Manager to join their team in West London, initially on a 3 month contract. Pay: GBP 360/day Ltd
Role Summary
A qualified Project Manager who has proven skills of working with off shore development teams using Agile methodologies is required to lead a number of initiatives within the client.
The successful candidate will
* be passionate about product delivery, an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate pragmatism and good judgement in co/ordinating business and technical teams in the successful delivery of business critical applications to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as: Technology Delivery Managers, Product Managers and Programme Managers.
* Lay out a common set of understandings from which emergence, adaptation and collaboration occur, and establish expectations against which progress will be measured.
* Support the Product Managers by
o facilitating demos
o ensuring that the backlog and roadmap are visible and clear at all times.
* Identify and remove impediments, address root causes, manage escalation where appropriate.
* track and co/ordinate high/level dependencies between internal/external teams
* enable and support early and continual integration wherever possible
* Provide on/going project reporting.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Commercially astute, with a track record in delivering software projects on time and to budget
* Must have experience of managing projects end/end; from concept to business benefits realisation. Must be able to clearly demonstrate business achievements to date.
* Must be comfortable in a high pressure environment with rapidly changing demands and priorities and have the ability to communicate well with all stakeholders.
* Comprehensive understanding and belief in Agile principles and values.
* Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and techniques.
Location / Travel
* West London based
* Regular travel to Porto / Technology (25%)
* Possible travel to Milan and Ireland / Product/Commercial (0/25%)
* Possible travel to Romania / Technology (0/10%)
