Technical Business Analyst - Edinburgh - 3 Month Contract

My client is looking to bring in an experienced Technical Business Analyst. You MUST be from a financial background. Please see the spec below.

You will be required to carry out the following tasks, responsibilities and duties.

Better use of current payments data

Strategic control and use of payments data

Technical Analysts to work with the PMs, and design lead to map out each of the sub-streams and deliver the design outcomes required to enable a further business case submission later in the year for the development/delivery of solutions required to support all of the other Payments Transformation Work Streams.

General technical background

Payments Systems Development experience

Data transformation skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Top down exposure to data specifications from Architectural principals through design and specification of data sets

Experience in definition of (or use of) Interface specifications

Background in data migration projects / understanding issues that arise with data migrations / data cleanse exposure

Ability to read and interpret system design documentation

General ability to assist in review of end to end business processes and map onto proposed technical solutions.

Experience in technical evaluation of IT products

Understanding or exposure to Liquidity Management desirable

Ability to create business requirements documents together with explicit / well defined statements of requirement

Ability to create technical requirements documents together with explicit / well defined statements of requirement
