Commercial Projects Manager

My client, a FTSE 100 company with an international presence and a strong recognisable brand are looking for a commercial, hands-on, Project Manager to join their busy channel partnering team. A market leader in their field, my client are renowned for game-changing their industry and true delivery. Throughout the organisation people work hard together to get things done.

Reporting to the Head of Channel Partnering and joining an experienced team

You will;

* Assess the impact of changes in the commercial world and the stability of commercial payments

* Analyse new price plans, tariffs and critically assess new commercial set-ups

* Assess what technical developments might be needed

* Acting as the business partner to co-ordinate and oversee technical changes that are required

* Lead deliveries and highlight risks

* Ability to manage commercial projects of a highly sensitive nature

* Your projects could be small continual changes and improvements or larger projects lasting for 18 months

You will be responsible for working with a diverse stakeholder group and you must be able to demonstrate (with examples) your excellent stakeholder engagement skills. It is vital that you understand the commercial business environment; and flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Your experience

You must be happy working in a fast-paced environment. Do you enjoy problem-solving? Do you like thinking on your feet? Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting involved? Then this could be the role for you! You will have knowledge and experience of Project Management, commercial terms and be financially astute or literate. Experience of SAP is ideal but not essential; and your SAP experience does not need to be highly technical; someone technically astute or able to use systems as part of their daily work would also be ideal. The ideal candidate will have telecoms experience although this is not essential and other industry experience will be considered.
