Abrecco wish to recruit a Product Support Analyst / Technical Support Analyst on a 6 month Fixed Term basis in Aberdeen. This position is highly likely to become a permanent job within 3 months. Our client is an international rapidly expanding and highly profitable software company with a superb work/ life balance and a market leading state-of-the-art product used across multiple industries globally. In this role you will be responsible for providing application support solutions both in web and database environments. To be considered you will have:
Essential:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to communicate with peers and non-technical staff
Previous commercial experience in an Application Support / Helpdesk / Technical support capacity.
Windows OS (Client and Server)
TCP/IP, basic networking
Familiarity with IT infrastructure: hardware, databases, operating systems etc.
Desirable
Degree or similar in IT
Oracle databases
Understanding and appreciation of programming languages
