Manager (Oil & Gas), Aberdeen, £60k - £70k

We are seeking a leader in macro economic analysis to join an expanding consultancy who has established a strong hold in the oil field services sector. This company provide both research and advisory services to the energy industry with offices in key global commodity hubs.

You will lead a team of analysts who focus on market fundamentals and economic developments (including M&A transactions, corporate due diligence and market forecasts) across the oil services industry. The focus for this role will be weighted toward the strategic delivery of reports and publications to a unique client base including top tier financial institutions, multinational oil and gas firms and funds/investors.

This position offers complete oversight of the analysis and interpretation of information utilised to generate forecasts and complex models for various scenarios within these markets. Additionally you will add value to bespoke strategic consultancy projects when needed.

You will have the freedom to explore and spearhead new revenue streams within the research landscape leveraging from the companies existing client base and industry reputation. This is the perfect environment for a savvy business minded professional to add strategic value in energy research.

Candidate Requirements

* Degree Educated to at least Post-Graduate Level (Masters Degree), a PhD or equivalent qualification will be ideal

* Degree is in a numerate / industry related subject, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics would be ideal

* ESSENTIAL: Knowledge and understanding of Oil field services industry - professional services/consulting experience

* A natural ability to engage and influence with senior stakeholders within a complex commercial business

* Experience managing small teams

* Track record in project management
