Quantity Surveyor - London

The Company:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a well reputed national consultancy, based in Central London. The consultancy itself is a multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices all over the UK. They work across a range of sectors in both the public and private sector.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will ideally be immediately available to join as a Quantity Surveyor. The majority of projects will be in the Education sector and you will work on a public framework. The contract would be initially to run for 3 months, with the likelihood of it being extended with the possibility for a temporary-to-permanent appointment.

Duties & responsibilities:

To aid in the cost planning; value engineering; feasibility studies; cost benefit analysis; produce pricing documents and contract terms; negotiate with contractor and agree valuations; lifecycle costing; valuation; and cost estimation.

The Key Requirements

* 5-7 years' experience within a consultancy environment

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction degree

* MRICS ideally but not necessary

* Sector experience to include education ideally, but not exclusively

* Client facing and professional demeanour

The Money

£300 per day
