*** 6 Month contract opportunity - .Net Developer - Glasgow - £300 / £350 per day ***

With 2 new key projects that have a critical delivery date my client are looking for the best in Microsoft ASP.Net Development to come and join them for a minimum 6 month opportunity.

Role:

As a Senior Developer you will be expected to report in to the Development manager and have at least 4 years of commercial .Net Development experience. As the successful ASP.NET developer you will have a varied and exciting role being responsible for;

* You will be re design & analyses the system and improve the functionality in ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, Javascript, MVC

* You will be able to write stored procedures in SQL Server.

* You will be a natural communicator who is comfortable with working on multiple, concurrent tasks on a project.

* You will be responsible for Unit testing your coding too.

With a reputation for being one of the best software houses in their Industry this client ensure that all their projects utilise the best practices available in the market including: TDD, BDD, Agile etc... They prefer to utilise contractors for Greenfield proejcts however there may be 1 months worth of upgrades to an older system

Skill set:

* At least 4 plus years of ASP.Net and C# Development

* Experience with WCF and Winforms is beneficial

* ASP.Net background

* HTML / CSS and Javascript technologies, additional background with Javascript Libraries such as angular is highly beneficial

* TFS / Team Foundation Server experience

* Prior experience of inter-grating and using Agile, TDD & BDD
