Application Support Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join a large Services Organisation in Glasgow. The position offers the chance to support a large customer base within the Public Sector supporting COTS Products and in-house applications.

Role Responsibilities:

- Providing 2nd to 3rd line support to external customers’ using the companies bespoke in-house software and COTS applications

- Answer any customer queries in regards to applications capabilities and features Interact with customers in identifying issues and supporting them through the resolution process ensuring issues are logged and escalated correctly in accordance with strict ITIL processes

- Communicate with the internal development and service delivery teams to share knowledge and identify areas for continual improvement as well as user requirements identified by customers

- Support developers when testing any changes made to bespoke applications

Required Skills:

- Excellent experience of providing 2nd/3rd line support for bespoke and COTS applications within an ITIL environment

- Experience of working within an application support team within a customer facing environment

- Possess a high attention for detail, ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained

- Experience of supporting C# and ASP.NET applications would be beneficial
